You can't spell PIZZA without two Zs!

Nearly FIFTY years ago, two brothers started a restaurant on the corner of Woodward & Warren and called it "Z's Place Family Tavern."  Twenty years later, Mike & Steve expanded their business to Midtown and opened up

"Z's Villa."

At a time when Detroit was reinventing itself, these brothers chose Midtown to start something new and special, just down the street from the Model-T Piquette Plant.  Z's Villa found a home in a building well over 100 years old, but has served the test of time, serving hundreds of more neighbors, visitors, and friends every single year. 

 

Since the opening of Z's Villa, it has served its community with pride and spirit. The Z brothers (and their families) have loved watching Detroit grow and are honored to have been a part of Detroit's fabric for so long.
